2026 H-1B Visa Registration Dates

Every year, US companies eagerly wait for H-1B visa registration to hire the best global talent. USCIS has released registration dates for the 2026 fiscal year, which will open on May at noon Eastern Time (10:30 PM IST) and close in May.

H-1B Visa Registration Guidelines and Updates for FY 2026

H-1B petitioners must register as beneficiaries through a USCIS online account to participate in the H-1B selection process. Employers must pay a registration fee of up to $215 per beneficiary. Beneficiaries without a USCIS online account must create an organizational account through my-USCIS.

Employers who had H-1B registrant accounts from FY 2021 – FY 2024 but did not use them for FY 2026 will have their accounts automatically converted to organizational accounts. Such petitioners should login on or after April to transition to the new system.
