Principal Sandra Soto
Sandra Soto has had a fulfilling career with the New York City Department of Education. She spent several years in the classroom as a bilingual and E.S.L. teacher before becoming a New Teacher Mentor. Her ability to collaborate with other educators led her to become a District Staff Developer and later a Literacy Coach. In addition to her years in education, Sandra has extensive business experience as an entrepreneur and former senior executive for Macy’s New York.
As the parent of three children in the public school system, Sandra believes a good education is one in which each child’s unique gifts and talents are celebrated and nurtured.
Sandra received her B.A. from Boston College and her M.B.A. from George Washington University. She later earned an M.S. in bilingual education from Long Island University and completed a certification in School Administration and Supervision through the New York City L.E.A.P. program.
